How to fund your Schools Water Cooler

Water Coolers Direct have launched a campaign to help UK schools afford appropriate water systems by providing a range of funding solutions.

Fred Cairns Palmer, Managing Director, WaterCoolersDirect.com Ltd said “When attempting to source water systems that are appropriate for the school environment, schools are running into problems mostly relating to the hassle and expense of rental contracts, such as committing limited funds to an ongoing rental contract and opening the school to a third party contractor when the machines require sanitisation. With our new campaign we are hoping to help as many UK schools as possible provide access to water for their pupils.”

Water Coolers Direct boasts a long history of supporting schools in the UK and have recently agreed to donate a water cooler to Merton Parents for Better Food in School who are running a competition to see which of the 45 Primary schools in the borough can bring about the most significant changes as part of their ‘Dinning Room Experience’ competition.

The Water Coolers Direct ‘How to fund your Schools Water Cooler’ campaign allows schools to take advantage of the following benefits:

Purchasing a Cooler Outright brings its own Reward for Schools
Schools can avoid committing limited funds to an ongoing rental contract and can allow staff or cleaners to sanitise the cooler rather than being reliant on external contractors visiting the school.

Schools benefit from a £25 Discount on each Cooler Purchased
Water Coolers Direct are now offering all schools a further £25 discount on each cooler that they purchase.

Get Help Obtaining Corporate Sponsorship
Water Coolers Direct are providing all UK schools with a range of downloadable files, enabling them to approach local businesses and gain the required funding for their water cooler.

Wendy Davis of Price Davis said “My children are educated at the Croft Primary School and so I wanted my business Price Davis to sponsor a Water Cooler that would give all the children at the school access to healthy drinking water throughout the day. My children will benefit from a supply of healthy filtered water and the school will benefit from having a free resource. I would encourage other businesses to help out their local schools in the same way. I approached Water Coolers Direct because they are able to offer a wide range of coolers to purchase and they are already offering additional discounts to schools of £25 per cooler.”

Mention ‘World Water Day’ when buying a Water Cooler from Water Coolers Direct and we will donate £25 to FRANK Water

Water Coolers Direct Ltd is proud to announce an increase in it’s donation to FRANK Water to help draw attention to this years 'World Water Day'.

Since the 22nd March 1993 the United Nations have invited member states to observe the ‘World Day for Water’, or ‘World Water Day’ as it now more commonly known. Member states are invited to devote the day, as appropriate to activities relating to the conservation and development of water resources. In 2007 ‘World Water Day’ will be guided by the theme ‘Coping with Water Scarcity’.

In order to draw attention to this years ‘World Water Day’ Water Coolers Direct are increasing their normal donation to FRANK Water Projects from £5 to £25. This offer is open to every customer who mentions “World Water Day” when purchasing their cooler (priced over £100) between the 1st and 22nd March 2007. The £25 donation goes direct to FRANK Projects and will help fund over 25,000 litres of safe, clean drinking water for villagers at the FRANK projects. That’s enough clean drinking water for 50 children for 1 year.

Water Coolers Direct are an Internet based company who buck the established trends of the water cooler industry, by freeing the consumer of cumbersome rental contracts and offering customers the opportunity to buy water coolers outright.

Fred Cairns Palmer, Managing Director, WaterCoolersDirect.com Ltd said “Charitable donations have always been an important part of what we do at Water Coolers Direct, we are delighted to increase our donation, our hope is that this initiative will raise awareness for FRANK Projects and World Water Day.”

Katie Harrison, Founder of FRANK Water Projects said “With the help of WaterCoolersDirect.com Ltd we hope to save many more lives by installing an increased number of clean water projects in both India and Africa.”

In order to help FRANK Water to continue it’s great work remember to mention ‘World Water Day’ when buying a Water Cooler from Water Coolers Direct.
